Instagram Roundup | May

May has come to an end, which means exams are over, the college year is done and dusted and Ireland is currently experiencing it's short lived summer with a mini heatwave, what is there not to be happy about? I am going away for three weeks in about a month and a half so up until then Summer is going to be pretty boring with trying to save all of my pennies, but I am positive it will all be worth it.

What are your plans for the Summer?

The Fashion Post | Orange Turtleneck and Denim Mini Skirt

Jumper: Urban Outfitters
Skirt: Asos
Heels: New Look

Soo i'm looking a little like the love child of Twiggy and Velma from Scooby Doo. I rarely wear my denim mini skirt, it is quite short but hopefully I will get somewhat of a tan on my legs over the summer and I can wear it more. I haaate how skinny and pale my legs are.. all I want in life are legs like Caroline Flack and lips like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but, for now I suppose i'll just have to work with what I've got.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

The Life Post | Teami Blends Tea Review

Before getting into the review I would like to point out that in no way am I being paid to make this post and all opinions expressed are honest and my own.

So unless you've been living under a rock, you will know that tea cleansing has been taking society by storm as of recent. Basically the process involves drinking a specially formulated tea to cleanse and detox your body. It can be done with different goals at the end of the process, weight loss, to improve your energy levels, boost your immune system, or even to clear up your skin, with that the teami website has a tea to suit every need.

For me, I am not interested in loosing weight. However, having discovered I have anemia a couple months ago I have been trying to make some changes to my diet, so Teami's 'Alive' tea seemed like a good option to go with as it contains vitamins and iron. With three main ingredients, ginger honey, lemon grass and green tea it claims to boost your metabolism, increase energy levels and generally improve your immune system. With 15 tea bags in one pack, the tea itself is nice to drink with a very slight ginger flavour.

Overall since drinking the tea I have noticed a difference in my energy levels, I feel a lot less sluggish and with my metabolism being boosted I feel far less bloated. I like to have a mug at night before I go to sleep as the warm ginger taste relaxes me perfectly.

I have heard great things about Teami's other teas and would recommend them for anyone thinking of giving them a try, annnd for a nice little discount you can use the code 'ADELE' to save yourself some money.

Let me know your thoughts on tea cleansing in the comments!

The Fashion Post | May Wishlist

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything on here, for multiple reasons, but I am back and I have a lot of posts planned for the foreseeable future, so stay tuned.

With summer very much upon us, my holiday wishlist is ever growing. Groovy trousers like these bright orange ones from Pretty Little Thing have really been catching my eye, i'm really into the whole 70s trend that has been in fashion and I think these trousers embody everything I love about the trend. Keeping with the sixties and seventies flower power theme, I've been longing after some cute baby doll swing dresses for sunny days, I've been loving plain white and cream ones along with loud patterned ones like this Asos one. Alexa Chung has killlleed it with her Marks and Spencer's collection, my favorite piece is the Lydia mini skirt, I can think of so many different ways of styling it.

I've recently heard of the different shampoo bars lush make and the one pictured above is their shampoo and conditioner bar. Since i'm going away for three weeks this summer travelling around Europe it would definitely come in handy to have a bar that will do two jobs for my hair. If anyone has tried this before please let me know what it's like! I've already purchased quite a few bikinis for my travels but you can never have enough really, this yellow one from Missguided is too cute, I love the cut and colour of it.

I'm also on the look out for cute but practical tan heels or sandals for my adventures, these Missguided ones are definitely cute but i'm unsure how practical they would be, but since they're just so pretty to look at I had to include them! I also threw in this pretty glitter pot from Pretty Little Thing. I'm not going to any festivals this year but I have every intention of still dousing myself in glitter at every chance I get because why not.

What are you after this month? Bought anything nice lately?

The Beauty Post | Collection's 'Speedy Highlighter' Review

Who would have thought that only up until a few years ago highlighters were hardly a thing, most people didn't know what they were yet alone own one, fast forward to 2016 and all of a sudden everyone's lives revolve around how majestically dewy their skin looks. Okay that might be a little extreme, but to most people with any kind of interest in make up are always on the hunt for the perfect highlighter, and to save some of you all the hard work I may have just found that for you.

While out shopping I accidentally stumbled across Collection's 'Speedy Highlighter' stick, not being the kind of gal who passes up a bargain like this I decided to buy it. With their 'lasting perfection' concealer speaking to me on a spiritual level, I am quite a fan of their brand. Intrigued by the idea that it was a stick highlighter, eliminating the fuss of using brushes and blenders I was keen to give it a go.

The packaging is cute and simple and the product itself is wonderful. Perfect for a light everyday glow, it can also be built up for a more dramatic look. The colour I feel, is perfect for paler complexions as it has more of a warm pink hue to it rather than a bright gold which is more suited to darker skin. The product lasts a while but if you're planning on being out all day it might be best to bring it with you to re apply as after 4 or so hours it can fade just a little. Other than that I have no complaints, for under a tenner it is definitely worth a try if you are on the look out for a high end alternative highlighter.

Has anyone else tried this?

The Fashion Post | The Ones That Didn't Make The Cut

It is no secret that on social media we only present the very best version of ourselves. With everything being cropped, photoshoped and enhanced it is easy to loose a sense of reality. Being honest, behind every successful picture I take is about 20 failed ones, so I've compiled together all of my non 'post worthy' pictures and dedicated a whole post to me looking like an arse.. again.
Enjoy!

Have a lovely weekend!

The Beauty Post | Lush 'Damaged' hot oil hair treatment Review.

Quite a while ago I put up this picture on instagram saying I was excited to try it, a few people commented saying they would like a review on it so finally, here is that review.

With the core ingredients clearly printed on the front of the stick I was very excited to try this, the vanilla makes it smell amazing and I had previously heard some good things about it. The treatment claims to replenish and re hydrate dry hair while giving it a little shine boost.

How the treatment works is simple, you pop the stick into a mug/bowl pour some boiled water into it and stir until it becomes a creamy texture. Then let the treatment cool a little and rub it into your hair, I focused mainly on the ends of my hair as that is the part that is most dry for me, just working a little of the product up towards my roots. It is recommended to leave it in for at least 20 minutes, I left it in for a good hour or so to ensure that the product got to work. After this I washed it out, I washed my hair 2 or 3 times with both hot and cold water to make sure the product was fully washed out, little did I know what state my hair would be left in after. I'm not sure whether I used too much of the product, left it in for too long, or if my shampoo wasn't strong enough to wash it out, but the treatment would not get out of my hair, I had to try pick clumps of the product out of it as I was washing it, still to no avail. I blow dried and tried to style it as I usually would but my entire head was a horrible waxy texture, it looked greasy and was disgusting to touch. The next day I washed it again and while most of it washed, out my hair was still left a little waxy.

All in all this product did nothing for my hair, I did not notice any extra shine nor did it feel in any way re hydrated, for the price of this product I most definitely won't be repurchasing it. I will just stick to my diy treatments for now. That being said I have heard some really good stuff about this product so maybe it wasn't for me but it will work for you if you're willing to spend a few bob. For me, I find Lush products quite hit and miss and this was most definitely a miss. Soz Lush.

If you do happen to be looking a hair oil that stimulates growth I will recommend having a look here. Lush may not have been much use, but this may just help you find what you are looking for. Silver lining and all that.

Have you tried this product before?

The Fashion Post | Stripped Culottes and Oversized Coat

Top: Penneys/Primark
Trousers: Missguided
Coat: Boohoo
Shoes: Boohoo
Belt: Vintage

Finally I get to share this outfit, after many failed attempts of trying to take pictures of it I eventually got some decent ones. These trousers are literally the most comfortable things ever, I feel like i'm wearing pajamas whenever I wear them. Culottes are the best thing ever invented, i'm going to wear them for the rest of my life.
My double breasted coat is also the best thing ever, I feel like a grown up who has their shit together when I wear it and on top of that it's perfect for this in between weather because it is warm enough to not wear any layers underneath so you don't have to worry about throwing on cardigans upon cardigans in an attempt to stay warm if the sun disappears.

Happy Saturday!

The Fashion Post | The Sixties Print Trouser

Trousers: Topshop
Bodysuit: Zara
Shoes: Penneys/Primark

How groovy are these trousers? I picked them up in Topshop a couple months ago and i'm still in love. I got them in a size 4 in the petite section so they fit me perfectly, being quite small I can find it really hard to find trousers that fits me all over, so not having to wear a belt with these is a miracle. As much as I love them I find them a little hard to style, a print that bold can be a little overwhelming, but I feel they blend perfectly with this Zara bodysuit, the bright red teamed with the check bring out the best in each other.

How do you feel about wearing bold prints like this?

Instagram Roundup | March

Another month, another instagram roundup. I could speak about how once again the month went in so fast but I won't, instead I would like to make a point of how unjust and annoyed I am at this change instagram plans to make on the order of how content will now be showed. It feels as though ordinary people like myself no longer have the opportunity to share content and promote whatever it is they do in a fair way. And as I don't exactly fall under the 'popular' category it's unlikely that my content will any longer have the opportunity to flourish. Who does instagram think they are to choose what content we can and cannot see based around what they deem to be worthy enough. I'm not sure when this idea is planned to be put in place but all I can hope is that if and when it is, it doesn't last very long.

Anyway, rant over. I hope everyone is having a lovely week!

The Life Post | Ten Reasons Why You Should Love Your Small Boobs

Coming from someone with small boobs I can sometimes feel a little down about my em lack of 'lady lumps' and having it pointed out by other people that they are small (as if I didn't know) can get a little annoying, but as I get older I realize that actually, having small boobs isn't so bad at all, and if like me you need a little reassuring from time to time on why exactly that is, here is a list of why your small boobies are the bomb!

Bralettes
Lace, mesh, crochet, we have the gift of being able to cover up our nips with the prettiest and most delicate of materials while still having adequate support, horrah!

No Bra
I can go bra-less wherever and whenever I feel like it, If I have a dress or top that requires me to not wear a bra I don't have to worry about being supported or falling out anywhere, these babies are perk and proud all by themselves.

Back Pain
Back pain? What even is that? I don't know because I have tiny boobs!

Exercise
With little boobs there is no need to go out and spend a small fortune on a sports bra, I can just wear any old bra or even none at all and run and jump around as much as I want without any trouble at all.

Push up Bras
You have the option to have small and big boobs whenever you want. Push up bras were made for a reason, and if you have a certain dress that requires some cleavage pop one on and there you go, magic boobies!

Better Sex
Now i'm not entirely sure how true this one is, but it is apparently a scientific fact that women with a smaller chest have better sex. Something got to do with there being less fat so it is easier to stimulate, sounds good to me anyway!

Sagging
Nope, none of that for you. Small boobs don't really have anywhere to go so being perk is their only option, how wonderful.

Intelligent Men Love you
Another scientific fact is that men with a lower IQ tend to be attracted to women with large breasts. Again how true this is I don't know, but for me intelligence is a big factor when it comes to being compatible with someone, so no stupid boys for me!

You Look Younger
While you're young all you want is big boobs to make you look older, but, fear not, when you are at an age where you want to look younger you will be more than grateful for your little friends. Since bigger breasts sag over time signaling that you are older, having the perkiest of titties will conceal your real age perfectly.

They Prevent Breast Cancer
I think this is the most important point of all, if there is no other reason for you to love your small boobs then this is the one to convince you. It is easier to detect a lump with smaller boobs in self-exams because there are fewer layers to feel through. How amazing is that.

So hopefully this empowered a few women out there, your boobs are wonderful big or small and behind them is a list much bigger than this explaining exactly why. And just for the record in no way do I mean to offend anyone with big boobs, they are perfectly lovely too and you have your own list of reasons why they are great, yay all boobs!

Have a lovely weekend!

The Outfit Post | Dressing For a Wedding

With the peak of the wedding season well and truly upon us, wedding fashion is something that for me, is probably the most important part of a wedding (you know minus the whole marrying your soul mate thing). The first thing that crops to mind with wedding fashion is of course the brides dress along with the bridesmaids, the mother of the bride etc. With all that hype surrounding what the women wear, the boys can become overshadowed and somewhat forgotten about. So in light of this I have teamed up with T.M Lewin to showcase some of their collection that I feel would be perfect for a spring/summer wedding, whether you're the groom, best man or just a guest, T.M Lewin have something for you.

I decided to go with a classic grey suit, this can range anywhere from charcoal to light grey, depending on your preferences. By playing it safe with a grey colored suit you can have fun and play around with different prints and textures of your tie, socks and other accessories. I am in love with the paisley tie I have included in my mood board, I feel a striking tie really pulls the whole look together, and either makes or breaks the outfit. I also went with an eye catching multicolored pair of socks to bring a little fun to the look since the suit itself is quite paired back.

Along with this I have put together a list of my dos and don'ts when dressing for a wedding.

Don't

Play it safe
If you're wearing a grey or black suit, don't pair it with a pair of black shoes, socks and a black tie. It's okay to not play by the rules sometimes and a wedding is the perfect opportunity to play around with different looks, even if it's just a plain red or green tie, it will pull everything together and it will be obvious you made the effort.

Wear White Socks
What is it with boys and white socks? Whatever you do, no matter what colour your suit is, white socks are a no go. Not only do they scream 'I couldn't be arsed' they look pretty awful with a dark suit and shoes, so just save yourself the embarrassment and invest in some different coloured socks.

Upstage the bride/groom
I encourage playing a little outside the box when it comes to picking out a suit. But, if it isn't your wedding, don't show up in a hot pink suit and take all of the lime light. Experiment to a certain extent but keep in mind that it isn't your day just yet.

Do

Co-ordinate With Your Date
If you are bringing a date along with you, ask them what colour they are wearing. You don't have to buy accessories the same colour as her dress but, if she is planning on wearing red shoes and a red bag then you could match that with a red tie and socks. Investing in a few pieces like the tie above is perfect because there are so many colours in it, it is easy to match up with your date whatever colour they are wearing. The attention to small details like this pay off.

Experiment
If you're going shopping for a suit, don't just grab the first suit you see try it on and buy it. Go in with an open mind and try on lots of different colours, styles and textures, even if you don't think they will suit you, you could end up pleasantly surprised.

Re wear
Just because you have worn a suit once doesn't mean you have to go out and buy a new one straight away for the next occasion. Suits can be quite pricey, so it is most definitely worth your while investing in some different shirts, ties, shoes and other accessories so you can switch up and change your suit whenever you so please.

What are your do's and don'ts when it comes to wedding outfits? Girls, I would love to hear your opinions too!
